Elk Mist
Taken on the Madison River near the west entrance to Yellowstone. It was an incredibly cold morning (around 10 degrees F) which made mist rise from the somewhat warmer water (and subsequently settle and freeze on me!).

I rented a Nikon D600 and a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G. This was all an experiment to see if I want to "swith sides". I think I'll let this picutre tell you whether I switched or not!

Reservoir Sunset
Shortly after my now fiance moved to Idaho I wanted to show her some of my favorite places so I brought her to this perch above Palisades Reservoir near the Idaho / Wyoming border.
Harbour Wall
This was taken in Two Rocks on the western coast of Australia. The harbour was really still this morning and I thought the wall would make for an excellent division of the photo. I love the smooth "painterly" effect in the sky above the wall contrasted with the sharp ripples in the water below the wall. I think this would make an excellent desktop background :-)
Bowl of Light
